Secret Garden, A Boutique hotel

The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, and the staff were very friendly. Sunish, the guest manager, prepares delicious omelettes and fresh homemade bread for breakfast every day. He was so attentive he seemed to know what you wanted before you could even ask. We had five fabulous days at Secret Garden.

The staff were all lovely, and the place had a calm, relaxing, natural feel. Breakfast was fresh and healthy, especially the homemade carrot bread. It made a perfect base for our first visit to India and for exploring Kochi. We also had two excellent meals out: Paragon, a short walk away, and The Seagull, which is licensed to serve alcohol.

The yoga shala is amazing, the rooms are gorgeous, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Everyone on staff was attentive and smiling. Thora, thank you for being so kind to me. I loved the positive vibe here, and I'll definitely stay at Secret Garden again when I return to Fort Kochi.

We could easily walk to the Chinese fishing nets and even to Jew Town, though we took an auto-rickshaw back. The staff welcomed us with a calm, charming feel throughout. This was our first stop after arriving from the UK, and they arranged an airport taxi and greeted us with a watermelon drink. Our room was cool and comfortable, especially the spacious four-poster bed. The pool, gardens, yoga platform, and decor were all clean and beautiful. Dinner on our first night was a wholesome, delicate vegetable Indian meal. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the eggs were cooked delicately too.
