Tantraa Home Stay

I felt at home here, and now I understand why some people stay for months. The owner knows the area, offers advice, and can plan your trip if you want. He treated me like a friend and was very helpful. They have traditional-style rooms as well as standard air-conditioned rooms, all at a great price. This was my best stay in India so far. Thanks for everything.

After months of traveling around India, I needed somewhere quiet and friendly to rest, and tantra was just right. I stayed three weeks and had a lovely, relaxed time. Babu, the owner, is very nice, and the room was large, clean, and had everything I needed. The shared kitchen worked perfectly, and the neighborhood was quiet while still central. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the rooms and shared space were basic but clean. We stayed just one night, which worked well. The place is handy for the Chinese Fishing Nets and churches, and getting an Ola from the bus station was easy and fairly cheap. We used a non-A/C room and it got very hot, so I'd pay extra for proper A/C next time. There's a shared kitchen with a fridge, and you can refill water for 10 rupees.

There are local shops and good food close by, and the location worked well for me. I had a top-floor room that matched what was advertised. The open layout also makes it easy to meet other travelers. Babu was a great host, always around to answer questions and offer suggestions.
