Victory Dawn

The standout detail for me was the set of early 1900s Kochi photos, framed by Krishnan Nair Studio, which was established in 1910. The furniture in the bedrooms and living rooms on both floors is understated and stylish, with the feel of old ancestral homes some of us were lucky enough to visit. I was also happy to eat fresh fruit and salads at the table, since I usually avoid having them outside my home. The hot, fresh food was extremely tasty. The starters and soups were very well prepared, and the main course was just as good. Food was served hygienically, and the staff were excellent at their work. They were always available and friendly without intruding. The property gets 10/10 from me for hygiene, food quality, and service. I stayed at Victory Dawn by Amatrails for a friends reunion organized by my father's friend. Managed by Taj Hotels, the property and service were impeccable, as always. It opened in January 2023 and has 6 rooms across 2 floors, connected inside by a vintage wooden staircase. It can accommodate a group of 12, though the size of each room seems like it could hold twice as many people. The attached bathrooms are huge and very practical. It would be a perfect fit for families or groups wanting a quick weekend getaway.

Akshay gave us great hospitality, and the heritage property is beautiful. We had an amazing stay and service.

Breakfast is the only meal provided, but with nice restaurants nearby, that wasn’t a big concern. A wonderful place to stay if you want to experience Fort Kochi.

Our family had our Pet with us, and the staff welcomed us and took care of everyone with great attention. I really appreciated the kitchen team and the rest of the staff. Abhishek in particular deserves a mention.
