Kaziranga Inn

They managed to find me a gypsy for a jungle safari even though it was peak tourist season and availability was short. The hotel is very close to Kohora gate, though its entrance is narrow and it can be hard to spot from the highway. It was in its third year when I visited, and the rooms were okay, with good furnishings. There was fast, free Wi-Fi but no TV, and the bathroom was spacious with good fittings. It was a good experience overall.

The owner of the Inn, Sanjay Sil, and his staff, including Bipul, were warm and very polite. They kept us company and answered all our questions. When we arrived after noon, Sanjay Sil greeted us with a smile and offered tea or coffee. Our room was still being prepared, so he offered another room where we could freshen up and relax. Breakfast and dinner met our expectations. The local rice was so soft and sweet, it made my mouth water. For a family, it was a nice stay with good rooms, a hygienic washroom, and hot food. It’s easy to reach from the main road.

At first glance, the place may not impress much, but the hospitality, service, and cleanliness were really good. Sanjay Sil, the owner, was very cordial and helpful, and looked after all the details. Bipul, the manager, was cheerful and always smiling, while Biraj was there whenever we needed anything. We loved the place and its people. It was a memorable stay.

Basant Bhai, Vipul Bhai, and all the other staff were kind and helpful, and always available when we needed anything. They treated us like family. They also offer Jain food for anyone from the Jain community visiting the area. If you're coming to Kaziranga, Kohora, this is a great choice for a family stay, or for a trip with friends or cousins.
