Hotel Chiranjeevi

The location is far outside Kolhapur City, but the hotel premises were clean and the parking was good. Rooms are an okay size for two people, and the AC, fan, hot water and bathroom were all quite good and clean. The staff were generally good, and breakfast was very tasty. After check-out, one receptionist flatly refused when we asked to leave our luggage in the store room. Another receptionist came along and kept it for us politely. Apart from that, the overall stay was very satisfactory.

We had a terrible experience and the stay wasn't worth the money. The location is far from the city centre, cleaning was poor and there were lots of cockroaches. The complimentary breakfast felt like a rip-off: just one poha or upama, and tea only, with no coffee. The staff service was rude too.

The staff were courteous and even helped us arrange a taxi for local sightseeing, which made getting around much easier. The hotel is also very close to the temple, a handy spot for pilgrims, and the food was delicious. Housekeeping and cleanliness could be better, though. With some attention to that, the stay could be more comfortable. I’d recommend it for the location and helpful staff.

I’ve been here seven times, but the staff’s behavior on my last two visits was very unprofessional. They give the owner the wrong impression of customers, saying people are demanding things and so on. Last orders are at 10:15, and they don’t seem interested in serving customers. It feels like only the owner’s friends are welcome here 😊
