The food was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I also liked the cozy feel of the guest house and how friendly and helpful the staff were. It's well placed for exploring the city, and the price was easy on the budget. A good stay for me 🙂.
The locality is a real plus, and my room was clean. Breakfast came with the stay, and the lunch and dinner prices weren't too high. The food tasted like home cooking, too. The staff were friendly and down to earth. One thing to know: they don't accept online payments, only debit or credit cards or cash.
The rooms were kept neat and clean, and the food felt like a home-cooked meal. I found the attendants honest, kind, and easy to get along with. Staying there felt like being at my own house, and the location in Kolkata worked really well for me. Thanks for the lovely treatment.
The room was very good, and I had a wonderful stay. One drawback is the residential location, with no restaurants close by. You can order online or walk about 1 km to find food. They do offer meals in house, though I found them somewhat costly: six pooris, the cheapest menu item, cost 70 RS. The guest house is spread across three buildings, with flats rented in separate buildings. If you have work in this area, it may be worth a try.
I booked through oyo and they confirmed the reservation, but when my mother and I arrived to check in, staff said they wouldn't give us a room at that price. The service was poor and the staff were rude. There wasn't even a separate washroom, only the ones in the rooms. Oyo did resolve it for me, but I was already upset and had to get ready and leave for an interview. The staff didn't bother to help.
