I don’t usually leave reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to go through the mental harassment I experienced. They seem to use the fact that a prepaid booking is non-refundable, leaving you feeling you must stay or lose your money. The hotel’s name is Heera Holiday Inn. After spending 3-4 hours looking for a decent place with good Google reviews, I booked here and somehow made it to the hotel. It’s deep inside narrow lanes in a Muslim-dominated area, and I found the location terrible, deserted, and shady, almost ghost-like. I didn’t feel it was an ideal or safe location. Before checking in, I asked to use the common washroom. It was horrible, with water all over the floor that soaked my jeans and spit marks on the toilet seat. On the first floor, liquor bottles were lying outside the rooms, and the corridor smelled strongly of cigarettes. The room was tiny, filthy, and broken. The sheets were stained, the bathroom was unclean, and it looked as if someone had just used the room. There were liquor bottles inside too, and the cigarette smell was unbearable. I tried to take a photo, but staff stopped me, saying the owner wouldn’t allow it. It was already 8 PM and I couldn’t go elsewhere, so I asked to change rooms. The owner refused and said I could stay there or pay extra for an “upgrade.” I left straight away because I wasn’t willing to risk my safety. The whole place felt like a red-light area or shady lodge. I paid around ₹2,100, and it was a complete waste. I fell for the fake online reviews. Please don’t consider staying here, especially with family, a partner, or as a solo female traveler.

Heeralal Hotel was a disappointing stay. The walls were damp, the room seemed poorly maintained and unclean, and the musty smell was hard to ignore. Stained sheets made me uncomfortable, and they didn’t provide soap or shampoo. I had to ask separately for towels. The online photos don’t show what the room is really like. The actual condition was much worse than advertised, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for families. A bad experience.

The rooms were congested, smelly, and in terrible condition, with cockroaches and other insects. The area was extremely dirty, as you can see in the pictures, and the window had no lock. I’d never stay here again. Staying at this hotel was a disastrous decision, and FabHotels’ customer relationship management played us. We wanted to shorten our reservation because of the room conditions. The receptionist, manager, or whoever he was told us to check in online first, then contact customer care to change the booking. But customer care said changes weren’t possible after check-in and that they couldn’t help, telling us to send an email instead. We had an itinerary to follow, and dealing with email follow-ups during our hotel stay was unreasonable. They also stopped responding to our calls. After paying such a hefty amount, staying here felt unfortunate, like bad luck. The walls were mushy, and the rooms and corridors were unclean. They won’t admit it, but it really is.

There were cockroaches in the room, cigarette butts in the beds, and dirt packed into the blinds. The place constantly smelled filthy, of cigarettes and alcohol. There was very little light, the water temperature was off, and they didn’t provide proper toiletries. The stay was pathetic, and I gave one star just for the sake of it. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m leaving today, and I think this hotel deserves a normal five stars. The beds weren’t stained, the owner was nice, and the workers were nice too. The elevators were clean and good, and didn’t get stuck. The toilet was leaking for some reason, and the room smelled like cigarettes, so we changed rooms. The replacement was very big.
