Mr Santu, the manager, was very cooperative and took care of any issues. The apartment felt like a home away from home, and you can cook for yourself or pay the in-house cook to prepare homely meals. Our room had a large bed and enough space for three; an extra guest gets a mattress. There was also an LCD TV, a chair, and a table. The toilet could use some renovation, but otherwise the room was nice.
When I first stayed here in August 2015, it seemed like very good budget accommodation. I came back two years later and found the walls, doors, and bathrooms in poor condition. They really need renovation soon.
The hotel was clean and nicely maintained, with great interiors and good service. Breakfast and WiFi are free. It’s about 45 minutes from Howrah station. Uber or Ola is a better bet since the taxi service is slow.
The place is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the people are really friendly.
The caretaker was especially friendly and helpful, and the property is very well maintained.
