I had a terrible stay. The receptionist/manager seemed drunk all the time, made a lot of noise, played loud music, and kept shouting for no reason. The sheets and blankets weren’t properly clean, and the blankets hadn’t been washed after the previous guest. They weren’t even arranged properly. Worst experience.

I’ve stayed here three times and liked it more than the other rooms I tried. It’s clean and hygienic, with Wi-Fi, breakfast, and AC. The owner and the other staff behave well, and they even call to check if we need anything. Transport is always available, and the airport isn’t very far. The area isn’t too congested, and there’s plenty to eat nearby. There’s also a bar close by where smoking is allowed.

The rooms are very basic, with a cot, an almirah, and a fitted mirror. The service is the main problem. Renting a room doesn’t mean the facilities are included: AC and lift use cost extra, as do attached rooms, even if you’ve booked the whole marriage hall. You also have to use the decorator recommended by the building owner, who charges whatever he wants. It’s a very old marriage hall that has been operating for a long time, but I think it has been mismanaged recently.

I paid by credit card through Agoda, but when I arrived they said the card payment was below their rate. Why take the payment in the first place? They didn’t refund me, and I had to find another hotel. A complete disappointment. Don’t go there.
