The one drawback is that they don’t take card payments. Otherwise, it’s a good place to stay in the heart of New Town, Kolkata. It’s not too far from Biswa Bangla Gate, check-in was quick and professional, the rooms were spacious enough, the toilet was clean, and the staff were polite.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working during this stay. I asked the Owner, who had a genuine reason: the hotel had been closed for a long time because of Lockdown, so it would take a while to get all the amenities ready again. I still had a very nice stay, as usual, and the Staff treated me well. I’ll visit again. 😊

The bathroom was clean enough, which was the one positive. The bed cover, blanket, and pillow cover were dirty, and I found hairs on the bed. After I asked, they changed only the pillow cover. I stayed two nights, and wouldn’t recommend it if you want a peaceful trip.

It’s a little remote, but food can be ordered from outside. The room was small, clean, and decent, and the AC, TV, fan, and geyser all worked. There’s a lift, and the staff were good, though not professional. I gave it 3 stars because the place feels very remote and doesn’t seem to have many guests. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
