Tranquil Stay by OYO Rooms

I booked through the Oyo app for 1000 per night, but at check-in they refused to let me in unless I paid 1300 per night. Reception management harassed me over it. The room wasn't worth even 300 per night: broken switchboards, untidy rooms, a bad smell, and cockroaches everywhere. Room service never came to clean it. The hotel seems focused on couples looking for private time, and you can hear some very interesting sounds from inside your room. I wouldn't bring family here, and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I wish Google allowed negative ratings. Oyo authorities should take strict steps to make sure the place meets basic cleanliness, hygiene, and amenity standards.

They put us in a staff room, then we had to argue to get the room we'd booked, and they wanted extra money for it. At night the staff were drunk and playing loud music. A really bad experience, this is a very pathetic hotel.

My check-in was meant to be at 12, but I only got a room at 5 because another couple was still using it. When I finally checked in, the room hadn't been cleaned. There was a woman's hair and other stuff visible on the bed and around the room. I wouldn't book here again. It didn't feel safe for girls or families, and rooms seemed to be given to couples by the hour for disgusting stuff. After this experience, I won't use OYO again.

They asked me for extra cash, and the check-in process was the worst I've had since 2016. The room hadn't been cleaned, there were strands of hair everywhere, and the pillows smelled terrible. The manager even tried to take my phone and leave a 5-star rating for the hotel on OYO. I called him out and told him to give it back. This place is a scam, and all the negative reviews are true. The positive ones look like they came from the manager and staff, with single words like “good” or “nice.” Save yourself the hassle. I strongly don't recommend staying here.
