The power had been out there since morning, and because of that they couldn't see my booking details in their system. They hadn't kept a room available despite my advance-paid corporate booking, and refused to check me in. Maybe it's suitable for Kolkata locals staying a few hours, but it's not reliable for visitors from outside. I'd avoid it if you're visiting Kolkata for the first time and have no other place to stay.
Because of miscommunication between goibibo and oyo, they turned us away despite our booking for July 19 to 24. The service from both oyo and goibibo was pathetic. I wouldn't recommend this property to IHM freshers.
The owner told us there were no rooms when we arrived to check in, despite our confirmed booking through the OYO app. OYO customer service wasn't helpful either. It was the worst experience I've ever had. This OYO room should be banned.
The owner's apartment is a little way from the main road, but finding an OYO near Sakuntala Park is almost unbelievable. The owner is genuinely nice and cooperative.
The caretaker was standing naked on the roof and asking for my number. I live in the Oyo locality. People from the locality took a whole lot of strict action. The worst.
