Room 208 is in terrible shape: the switchboard is damaged, the walls are soaked, and the whole room smells. Staff seemed unskilled and rang the bell at any hour. Breakfast was the worst part. For this price, the hotel should see how its peers handle service. The photos are of room no. 208.

Worst experience. Poor service, poor rooms, everything was bad.
The good parts were the service and the angara veg, which was wonderful, and the tea was good if you like it as sweet as kheer. The room price is like a three-star hotel, but the rooms don't measure up. The air conditioner made a sound like a drum concert, so sleeping would be wonderful if you can sleep through drums. Their menu lists lower charges than they actually ask for. They also don't promote saving water: guests have to spill at least a couple of buckets of water before they can get the stored hot water.
Food was okay but not great, and the rest seemed normal. What stood out to my wife and me during our recent visit to this Korba hotel was the communication and service. We urgently needed a card in the morning, and they brought it within minutes. It may sound like a small thing, but it added value. The staff's behavior was quite satisfactory, and there were no complaints from us. You can go and enjoy your stay.
