OYO 35374 Hotel Kanchan Residency

The manager was rude and unprofessional, and the place treated customers with no care. They harass guests and overcharge badly. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Please don't go here.

There were mosquitoes everywhere, and no drinking water, just an empty bottle outside. The rooms were too hot, the fan was very slow, and there was no air circulation. I asked several times for a water heater, but didn't get one. The staff and manager communicated terribly. They laughed and ignored me when I asked questions or raised concerns. The advertised price and actual bill were completely different: they showed ₹600 per room outside, then overcharged and asked for extra money at checkout. The price board is a trap. This was one of my worst stays in India, with highly unprofessional staff and cheating behavior. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

They don't even have a place to make tea. The hotel gets food from outside, charges double, and gives small portions of overpriced food. Staff are very rude and don't care about guests. They're constantly after you for money. Third-class management. Don't go here. I'll say it again, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT IS THE WORST.

The room was noisy and shady all night, with no peace. I wouldn't call it family-safe. The blanket they gave me was torn, smelly, and full of hair. I couldn't even keep it near my face. The towel was clean, but old and torn, like a used cloth. The AC wouldn't cool properly even at 16°C, and staff refused to fix it. Thick dust covered the fan blades, and dirt fell into the room. I booked Hotel O Kanchan Residency, Kota through OYO customer care after confirming the room layout, amenities, and what the offer included. Everything had been clearly shown and promised. When I spoke to staff, they replied in Hindi, “If you've taken a cheap room, you'll get service to match.” What kind of logic is that? I didn't get the room for free. Whether the booking is ₹2 or ₹2000, if OYO promises amenities, they should provide them. They can't cheat customers with excuses like this. Totally unhygienic, unprofessional, and unsafe. OYO is losing its credibility fast, and I'll never book again. Not recommended for families, solo travelers, or anyone who cares about hygiene and safety.
