Hotel The Grand Chandiram

I came to Kota for the first time, and this hotel spoiled the visit. We checked in at 7 am on December 10 and left around 12:30 that same night, but the invoice showed check-in at 8:50 am on December 10 and checkout at 8:46 am the next day. That is completely illegal. They also wanted a full day's payment for staying just one hour past checkout, even though they said the same charge would apply for five minutes. The rooms were dirty, the sheets smelled, and the food seemed stale. When we asked for a third bed, they just threw a mattress on the floor without wiping it. The hotel seemed short staffed, and the employees were extremely rude. No etiquette, hygiene, or even all the amenities. They did everything a hotel shouldn't do.

Nothing felt clean here, and the food was nowhere near good in taste or hygiene. The staff were few and not presentable, and seeing their nails put me off even drinking water. When I tried to complain, the manager was very rude and seemed unwilling to answer questions. The whole place felt shady and unsafe. I wouldn't recommend staying here if safety and hygiene matter to you.

Not a good stay. The room geyser didn't work, so I had to use another room that had already been checked out and was dirty to bathe. The tea and coffee had no taste. Wouldn't recommend it.

They ask for advance payment for everything, including food and services, even after you've been verified. Usually you pay when checking out, but this hotel demands payment upfront. The gates are locked too, leaving you worried no one will be there to let you in or attend to you. I won't book again or recommend it.
