The bedsheet was really dirty and the room didn’t seem hygienic. One of my worst experiences in Kottayam. I’d tell people not to go there.

The room was dirty, smelled strongly of liquor, and had lots of mosquitoes. It didn’t feel worth the room price. Maybe it’s okay for bachelors, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a family stay in Kottayam. The slim, bearded guy at reception had a terrible attitude and didn’t seem to know how to treat guests. The other staff were good, but the stay was still a very bad experience.

The hotel is just across from a bus stop, about 2 kms from Kottayam railway station. They gave free tea at around 6:30 in the morning. The room itself was below par in this old hotel, with poor upkeep. Towel cleanliness was very poor, the bathroom was just okay, and the lift was very small.

Booking directly here costs Rs 300 more than booking online. If you book a room and then leave, the staff will treat you like hooligans. They don’t even know how to speak politely. It feels like a place that doesn’t value its guests at all. I’d never recommend it to anyone.
