The 2.5 km drive from the main road is a rough off-road stretch, and the first trip up can be scary. I’d only suggest it for very experienced drivers. The hotel is four floors tall but has just one lift, so check-in or checkout at busy times may mean a wait. Once there, though, The Jungle Mountain Retreat is peaceful and beautifully kept, with lovely balcony views and birdsong in the morning. The staff were welcoming and the fresh food was delicious. The evening bonfire was a real highlight, with guests gathering to have drinks, play music, dance, and enjoy the atmosphere together. The road may feel especially unsettling at night or on arrival, but the views and calm next morning made up for it for us. With a skilled driver and some preparation for the road, it feels like a paradise.

Shaandaar. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property, surrounded by nature and mountain views. The atmosphere was peaceful, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and everything was clean. Staff were polite and helpful throughout, and the food was delicious. It seems like a lovely choice for families or couples visiting Kufri.

We enjoyed the bonfire with music at night, and the weather was just right. The staff and helpers were so kind in the way they spoke to us, and they served food as though guests really mattered. They took even more care of us than we expected. If you’re exploring Kufri, this is a great place to stay.

The check-in went smoothly, and the service was very good. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, while the staff were courteous and quick to assist. The location is excellent and easy to reach. I had a comfortable stay and recommend the hotel.

There are lots of apple gardens around The Jungle moun retreat Kubrick. Mr Surendra ji, Diksha Op, and the team made the stay memorable, and the FOM deserves special thanks. The place had a magical feel as well as heartfelt hospitality. We left with memories we won’t forget and are eager to come back. I’d recommend it to families and friends.
