The Zuri Kumarakom Kerala Resort & Spa

The dining was mediocre and needs work, especially for a resort of this level. Nikhil, the dining room team lead, deserves credit, though. He was attentive, communicative and engaging, and made the meal much better. The staff were polite and efficient overall, but many were quite reserved, so more warmth and interaction would improve the guest experience. The property is older, but very clean and clearly well maintained. The landscaping and grounds are lovely and make for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Staff service is a real strength and makes up for the age of the hotel. During an inspection, we met the General Manager, who was warm, professional and approachable. He even took a photo of my wife and me himself, a thoughtful gesture we’ll remember. Our stay at The Zuri Kumarakom, Kerala Resort & Spa was pleasant overall. Despite a few areas that could improve, it’s calm, clean and well managed, and I’d definitely stay again.

The staff at zuri hotel were friendly, and the stay really did feel like being at home. The warm, welcoming atmosphere was comfortable. Sanchita from housekeeping deserves special praise for her excellent communication, professional and careful work, and especially her friendly nature. She made us feel like family rather than guests. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness added a lot to the experience. We appreciate all the friendly staff. Thank you, Team zuri.

The staff made the stay for us. Their hospitality and service were so good that I gave the place five stars, though on the property itself I’d probably say four. We were three families there for one night, and they kindly let us check in early. The rooms were decent, and there was plenty of space to relax. The pool was nice and didn’t smell of chlorine, and the sunset was lovely. Breakfast was great, but the high tea and coffee were only passable. The property could use some maintenance, though it wasn’t a major concern. Nothing else bad to report.
