The hosts were kind and generous, and went out of their way to make us feel safe and cared for. The place was calm, clean, and comforting, with a nice mix of modern style and local tradition. It captures the spirit of the lush surroundings and gave me a welcome break from the grind of daily life. This was the only part of my Kerala trip that went smoothly and without stress from start to finish. Couldn't recommend it enough!

The owners were super friendly and helpful. When our transport didn’t come, they helped us book another one. We had an amazing experience in a very nice, modern room with a spacious bed. I highly recommend staying here in Kumily. Thanks for everything!

The location is peaceful, just away from the traffic, but you can be at the market in a minute. Restaurants are nearby and easy to walk to. The rooms were large, clean, and just like the pictures, and the place was very well maintained. Uncle and aunty were helpful with directions and other things. The only issues were the lack of toiletries, a TV, a dustbin, and tea making facilities in the room. Getting tea from outside was a tedious task.

The owners are the best part of staying here. They’re so kind, it’s hard to put into words. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and the room feels like home while still having all the modern amenities.

The new rooms are large and have some wild paintings. From here, you can walk to the market, cultural shows, and Periyar forest. The owner is very welcoming, and the aunty suggested Mlamla waterfall. It’s a must-see, and you can pair it with a Sathram jeep ride.
