The property is well maintained and the staff were good, but the rooms felt cramped and the food was disappointing. Breakfast was horrible. The restaurant manager was rude and arrogant the whole time, which felt unacceptable at such a reputed hotel, especially after paying so much. The location is nice, but it’s tucked away at one end, so there’s nowhere else to wander nearby and no other hotel or necessary items close at hand.

The hotel is a little outside Kurseong town, which is part of its appeal. It’s calm and beautiful, away from traffic and crowds, and our stay was wonderful. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. Hospitality was excellent, especially from the restaurant staff, and the food and drinks were good quality without food prices being too high. The property feels very upmarket, though the stay itself is a bit expensive.

The staff were courteous and very helpful, and breakfast had a decent selection. Meals were simple but tasty. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the property has lots of greenery and lovely mountain views. The room rate is a little high, but the distinctive setting and the stay made it worth it for me.

The approach is the main drawback: there are two roads in, and both are extremely narrow. The restaurant and complimentary breakfast were good, though sausages weren’t available. Staff were good and room service was prompt. Rooms are extremely good and well decorated, and the toilet has very good, latest amenities.

Breakfast was good, with a decent spread and really top-notch food. The stewards were friendly and caring, and handled all our requests. Before heading to Darjeeling, we relaxed in the open area for a bit of sun while waiting for our car. The room was comfortable, and the resort had a peaceful, calming feel that seemed ideal for meditating.
