The food is delicious, and the staff are good, though they seem overworked. Cleanliness needs attention, and the Kodagu vibe is missing, mostly because it's right in central Kushalnagar town. It must once have been a superb hotel, but now it's surrounded by some really ugly buildings.

We went for lunch with the family. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food tasted good, the service was good too, and the surroundings were neat and clean.

The bathroom was so cramped it was hard to bathe, and the flush didn't work. There was a TV but no dish connection. Painting was going on, so the smell of paint and the work caused some disturbance. They also didn't provide a kettle.

Dining in was okay, but the prices feel high for a restaurant these days, and the portion sizes don't really justify what they charge.

The music was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation, and that capped off a pretty disappointing evening. Our drinks took ages and tasted watered down, while the small plate we ordered arrived cold and greasy. We came hoping to relax, but left without finishing anything. We won't be back.
