The service was pathetic, and they charged us for breakfast they bought from outside. There was no water pressure in the bathroom, and the bathroom door wouldn’t lock. The room was very small and had a shed, and the build quality was poor. When you switch on the fan, the whole roof sounds like an orchestra. It’s not in a jungle or coffee estate, just a one-acre plot with lots of trees and plants. Don’t be fooled by a low price, either. The rate is per person, not for a double occupancy room.

Six of us, all adults, stayed here from Dec 23 to Dec 25, 2023. The setting between Kushalnagar and Madikere is pleasant and green, and we found it very clean and safe, including for women. The host was courteous and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good, rated 4.5/5. The rooms were simple rather than luxurious, but clean and roomy enough for sleeping and washing. We gave them 3.5/5. The Kent gas heater gets switched on whenever you need it, and we rated that 4/5. We didn’t need A/C during our visit, though it might be needed in summer; I’m not sure. Location, host, safety, cleanliness, and cost were each 4/5. During peak time, we paid about 1800/- per person per night, including breakfast and dinner. I’d rate the stay 4/5. It’s simple and cost effective, so don’t expect four-star luxury.

The rooms were decent, but very tiny for the price. There was no breakfast, and the owners didn’t interact much since they seemed busy with their own work. It’s far from the city, and even from the main road it takes almost 10 minutes to walk there.

The place is clean, and we had a good stay. It’s well away from the city and worked nicely for hanging out with friends. They can arrange food from outside based on what customers want. I was also told adventure sports are coming to the venue. The cost is pretty inexpressive. One drawback, hot water is available only in the morning.
