Thrisangu Haven

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we found the rooms clean and comfortable. We had a pleasant, refreshing stay at Thrisangu Haven Resort in Kuttikanam, with lovely greenery and a peaceful setting. The pool was well maintained and the food was delicious, though we would have liked more variety in the cuisine. Breakfast wasn’t included.

The main thing that let us down was the hospitality. Aside from the security guard, the staff interactions weren’t at the standard I’d expect at a resort. They could use better training in communicating with guests, understanding what they need, and making them feel welcome. Parking is outside the premises, which was a little inconvenient at night, though not a big deal. We stayed with family at Thrisanku Havens Resort, Kuttikanam on 21st March 2026. The individual cabins had already sold out when I booked, so we chose a deluxe room at a reasonable price. It was neat and comfortable, just right for a peaceful night. The property has lots of space and attractive landscaping, and the night view was a real highlight. The pool was clean and suitable for families, but it closes at 7:30 PM. Given the climate, it would be better if it stayed open later, perhaps until 10 or 11 PM. We ate at nearby restaurants and visited sightseeing spots, so I can’t comment on the resort’s food. For a quiet stay with scenic views and good value, I think it’s worth considering. With better hospitality and a few facility improvements, the experience could be much better. I’d rate it 4/5 overall, though the stay itself was 5/5. I took off a star because of the staff’s attitude and hospitality.

We were there for a day and really enjoyed the stay. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed, and the setting and ambience were beautiful. The food was tasty and affordable, and the staff were very helpful.

We booked a cottage, but had to wait until 1.45pm to check in even though the stated time was 1pm. Cleaning was running behind. The room was decent, but there were a couple of issues: one wall had a bothersome leak, and the washrooms had no exhaust fans. The floors stayed wet and never really dried. The rooms are okay, though some maintenance is needed.
