Lavasa Luxury Deck Apartment

Our stay was awful, and the caretakers, although helpful, couldn’t do much to fix things. Water had leaked all over the dining area. When we called the owner, we were told the AC was leaking and we couldn’t use it, so all four of us had to sleep in one room without AC. There were cockroaches throughout the apartment, and a bad musty smell, as if it had been shut up and left unmaintained for months. Some of the furniture shown in the online photos was missing, and the power outlets didn’t work. There weren’t any water bottles, and we hadn’t been told we’d have to drink tap water from the kitchen sink. Whenever we raised an issue, the owner kept saying they’d never had these complaints before and that it couldn’t be possible. Go at your own risk.

The lakefront location and comfortable 1BHK are the good parts, but the service was very poor. The tea and coffee in the room had run out, and the caretakers didn’t respond. They seemed clueless and indifferent. Food choices nearby are limited to a few local shacks, and the quality was poor. You’ll need to wash the dishes, manage the place yourself, and make do with misal pav in polythene packets. For the money, it was worth nothing.

A lovely modern place to get away to. It’s roomy, clean, and well cared for, with a fully working kitchen. There’s an outdoor area where you can sit and relax or spend time with family or friends, and even have a barbecue. A brilliant spot to visit.

We weren’t sure whether to even make the trip because the caretaker’s phone was unreachable all day, and there was no way to know if anyone would be there when we arrived. That caused a huge delay. When I contacted the owner, he basically said it wasn’t his problem. The owner’s attitude was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
