Hotel Jorchung

You can reach the market on foot in about 10 minutes, which is the hotel’s main plus. The food was good, but the staff weren’t proactive with service. They often overlooked small inconveniences, and we had to remind them about most requests. The bathrooms were unclean and didn’t seem to get regular ventilation. We could manage that level of cleanliness, but it didn’t feel worth what we paid for the rooms.

The food was delicious, and the staff were so welcoming, especially Mr. Aijaz, who made us feel at home. Our room was clean and cozy, with beautiful mountain views. The Jorchung is close enough to walk to the main market, yet the area stays peaceful and quiet. We had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. 10/10!

We came from Odisha and spent four nights here in April 2025, using two rooms. The hotel felt very family friendly, and they even provided a water heater for the kids. There were lots of choices at breakfast and dinner, and the food was really tasty. The manager and the rest of the staff were especially supportive and cooperative. We had a very pleasant, outstanding stay.

We spent three nights at Hotel Jorchung Leh in the first week of May 2024. Our room was spacious and well maintained, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The hotel is about 1 km from Leh main market and 3 km from the airport. Breakfast and dinner were available; we found them passable. We enjoyed our stay. Best wishes to the hotel.
