Tsongspon is just a couple of minutes from the market, and we really enjoyed staying there. The entrance, decorated with flowers, has a lovely Ladakhi home feel. The rooms, washrooms, and rest of the property were very clean and well looked after. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and ready to help. There isn’t an in-house restaurant, so you’ll need to eat outside, though they can make basic tea and coffee.
Sunil and Arjun from housekeeping were helpful and quick whenever we asked for tea or hot drinking water. The rooms were spacious, hygienic, and very clean, with wardrobes. Power backup was excellent, WiFi was good compared with other parts of Leh, and hot water was available around the clock. I’d stay here again on my next visit. Thanks.
The rooms were clean and the service was good. It’s a reasonably priced guest house, though a little away from the market, which takes about 10 minutes to reach.
A comfortable little place with most amenities. A couple more pieces of furniture would make it more convenient. I’d suggest visiting before October. I understand they also serve food during the season.
Tongspon Guest House is near Leh main market. If you’re looking for a budget place, it’s very cheap, especially for a group, though the facilities aren’t particularly extensive.
