Mrunal, the owner, was very helpful, and the whole team made our visit such an amazing experience. Girivihar is the peaceful getaway I had in mind, and the quality is consistent across the food, rooms, and service. I can see myself coming back again and again. Highly recommend it. :)

For food that's light, tasty, filling, and close to the comforting feel of 'ghar ka khaana', Giri Vihar restaurant is a lovely place to visit. They serve Punjabi and Gujarati food. I really enjoyed it and would absolutely recommend it.

The family takes real pride in the property, and everything is managed with care. The food is delicious, hygienic, and tasty, with especially great Kathiawadi food. Mrunal is an excellent, positive host who is always looking after you and is easy to approach. The staff are courteous and professional too. In the heart of Lonavala, it's a fabulous place to stay.

The food, especially the authentic Gujarati dishes, is quite good. But service brought the experience down. The owner seemed rude, and even something basic like drinking water meant calling him personally because the waiters aren't allowed to take orders or make decisions. Service needs to be more courteous and professional to match the food. Other restaurants in Lonavala serve equally good Gujarati food, including Jain options, with much better hospitality.
