There's no working lift, the corridor ceiling outside the room was broken with electrical wires hanging out, and the second-floor corridor was barely lit. At night it felt a little scary, especially with only two rooms occupied out of around 10-15. The TV cable also wasn't working, and staff said cable work was in progress. Room service could be hard to get, since with so few staff nobody sometimes answered the reception call and we had to wait. Food cost a lot for the quantity and quality, and despite the price, no basic toiletries like shampoo, a brush, or face wash were provided. The hotel is along the old Mumbai Pune expressway, a bit far from Lonavala station and the main market. It's convenient if you're driving, but otherwise I'd look for a nearby hotel. I paid 3.6k a night for a bathtub room, which felt small even though they'd fitted in a lot. Overall it was decent, but overpriced for the stay.

They gave us a ground-floor room after we asked in advance, and the reception area was nice. The staff were humble, friendly, and well trained, and they handled room service professionally. They also sanitized the bed. We had a room issue that was sorted right away, including swapping the TV on the spot. The complimentary dinner was delicious, and the next day they gave us fruit and snacks for free. Hospitality, cleaning, and the restaurant were all great. This used to be Sai Moreshwar Resort and is now called Mist Valley Resort.

It's a large hotel, so give yourself time to explore. There's a water park on site as well as a separate indoor pool. We enjoyed the lovely poolside view from our room, the excellent service, and the buffet spread. The staff were very polite and helpful. It's a high-budget place, but I felt it was worth every penny. They have good offers during monsoon, so plan around then. I really like Hotel Fariyas and highly recommend it.

Getting around is the one drawback. Without your own vehicle, finding an auto can be difficult. The staff were helpful and disciplined, though, and because of a television problem in the deluxe rooms, mine was upgraded to a super deluxe room. Nice hotel.

The staff who were there were really nice and friendly. My room and bathroom were both good, but the lift wasn't working, so anyone placed on the first or second floor has to take the stairs. The restaurant was closed because of staff shortages. Check with management about whether these facilities are operating before booking.
