Sereniity Resort

The food and water were serious problems. Even though we had meals booked in advance, they were late or in poor condition, stale and odd tasting, and there wasn’t enough even for a small part of our group. Other places we ate on the trip were 10 times better. The drinking water tasted bad too, like it had been sitting for months. Our rooms were unhygienic and poorly maintained. The restroom flush and jet spray didn’t work, and cockroaches were everywhere. One room had a storage area inside it, full of old dusty decor, with a heavy cockroach problem as well. The pool was dirty with green algae, and its safety net was broken and covered only half of it. We were a large group, but the room allocation made no sense. We paid for AC rooms, yet only one of the two rooms had AC, and there was none in the hall. Different rooms had different issues, which showed a lack of consistency and quality control. The receptionist didn’t resolve our complaints. The staff were polite, but that didn’t make up for the inaction or poor upkeep. The whole trip was ruined by this stay. It was far below basic standards, and one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I strongly advise people to stay away.

We had a refreshing team outing in a calm, green setting away from the city. The well-kept spaces and relaxing atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the staff were courteous, supportive, and made sure things were organized for our group. We particularly enjoyed the food and hospitality, and it was lovely spending quality time with colleagues there. Thanks to the whole Sereniity Resort team for making it memorable. We hope to visit again.

Sereniity Resort made our daughter’s dream wedding come true. Ms. Ratnamalaji and Payal gave tireless support and responded promptly whenever needed. There are 50 rooms, with space for 150-200 guests, making it a sought-after Lonavala wedding venue. The rooms were clean and provided a good amount of privacy and security. Once the wedding arrangements are in place, the resort takes on a festive look. The bride’s party checked in on November 13th, by which time the arrangements were ready. A special welcome counter was set up at the gate, drinks were offered promptly, and check-in went smoothly. The bride’s side is usually put in Bungalows A1 & A2, while the groom’s side gets A4, A5 & A6. The vegetarian food was excellent. Non-vegetarian food can be arranged on request and is brought in from outside. The groom’s party arrived on November 14th to a grand welcome. That afternoon, the poolside became the Haldi venue, and the Sangeet was held on the lawns in the evening, with an open-air dinner. Loud music is allowed only until 10:30pm, and guests must follow that rule. On November 15, the central lawn was lavishly decorated for the wedding, followed by lunch and cocktails on the lawns that evening. The staff were cordial and courteous and saw to our requests.

We spent a lot on a two-day training program for around 300-350 people, booking the hall, rooms, and meals, but the hotel didn’t meet even basic expectations. The owner’s manner was rude and unprofessional. Food was the main problem. Almost everyone in our group disliked it. It smelled unpleasant, tasted very poor, and seemed diluted, with barely any vegetables. The rooms also fell short on cleanliness and comfort, and the place had a slightly negative atmosphere. Given the size of our booking and what we paid, we expected basic quality and hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for group bookings or events.
