The Orchid Hotel, Lonavala

The restaurant deserves a mention: the dishes were mouthwatering, and the breakfast spread was one of the best I've had. Our guests especially loved the food, rooms, and hospitality, and the coordination throughout our stay made everything feel seamless. We hosted our daughter's wedding at The Orchid, Lonavala, and the service went beyond what we expected. The property has excellent facilities, well-appointed rooms, and outstanding food options. From the initial event planning through the final arrangements, the staff were dedicated, patient, and professional. Special thanks to Mr. Dhote, Mr. Rajat, Ms Shreya, Mr. Goutam, Mr. Buddhi and the rest of the team for making it smooth and memorable for our guests. The reception staff left me disgusted, and the property's management is a huge mess. I arrived at 7 pm, even though check-in started at 2 pm, so I asked to extend checkout to 6 or 7 pm. They charged me half a day's price and said checkout had to be at 6 pm. We asked to stay until 7, but the reception lady refused. I booked through Clear trip, where it clearly said early check-in and late checkout were available. Why charge for a half day if there's another guest booked? It feels like a bogus way to take payment and set checkout to suit them. I had to leave 4 to 5 hours before my actual checkout time.

We have stayed overnight three or four times, and have also come for dinner twice on other occasions. The hotel is easy to find, right on the main road, with a reasonable amount of parking on site. The rooms have been neat and clean.
