Treebo Five Elements with Swimming Pool

Our rooms were in block 4, and the night there was miserable. The AC stopped during a power cut, then around 2:30-3:00 the power went out completely, leaving us without lights, fans, or AC. We told the staff and got no response. My family barely slept. Around 5 in the morning we learned that a fuse in blocks 1 and 4 had blown from the electrical load. Guests in other rooms had complained too, but electricians were called only after staff woke up. Power came back around 9, just an hour before the 10 a.m. checkout. We got no proper explanation or help. We had booked two days and one night, May 30 and 31, through Treebo because of our good experiences with the brand elsewhere. The property, rooms, and pool were good. There had also been a power cut on the first day, but only the AC went off then, while the lights and fans kept working, so I understand the hotel wasn't responsible. The staff service that night was the real problem. I ask Treebo to look into this seriously and take action.

We were lucky to find a room here when a 36-hour traffic jam on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway forced us to stop midway on our Hyderabad-to-Mumbai drive. The rates were reasonable, and the room was good enough for a comfortable stay. Reception handled us well, even though we arrived at an odd hour. It would be nice to see more breakfast choices, including South Indian dishes.

The service fell short of even basic expectations, and I wouldn't recommend this place. We paid over ₹1000 expecting a decent breakfast, but the choices last week were extremely limited and mostly bread-based. We were with elderly parents and young children, so we politely asked for something simpler and more suitable. Reception said the hotel had run out of gas cylinders instead of trying to help. The property also seemed poorly maintained, with limited amenities. The owner appeared unconcerned about what was happening there and focused more on cutting costs than guest comfort and basic service.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff were polite, but they were mostly unhelpful when we raised concerns. The stay was absolutely not worth the money. We regretted spending two days here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, hygienic stay at a reasonable price. The dining area was unclean and smelled of sewage. We saw a rat pass through the extremely messy, unhygienic kitchen. Breakfast had been booked in advance, but the quality and hygiene were unacceptable. The upma was passable; the bread smelled bad and was stale, the aloo paratha was poorly made, and the butter was stale too. Tea and coffee were average. Our Standard Room seemed to be among the worst on the property. Mould was visible on the curtains, sheets, cushion covers, and inside the wardrobe. The pillows and sheets smelled unpleasant, the pillows were damaged and caused neck discomfort, and the torn duvet and holey mattress left me with back pain. The floor was sticky and dirty. The AC and its remote didn't work properly, the TV remote was faulty, and the old, rusty kettle leaked. The washroom was dingy, with a persistent bad smell and inadequate hot water. Only bath soap, hand soap, and bath towels were provided, with no hand towels. Hygiene throughout was far below an acceptable standard. The property has parking in front of the rooms, a small reception, and a shallow pool.
