There’s no restaurant at the hotel, but several good places to eat are nearby, and staff can arrange room service if you ask. The staff are courteous and helpful. My room was very clean, including the sheets and blanket covers. It had air-conditioning and an LED TV, while the clean washroom was equipped with a shower and geyser. The amenities were good value for money, and I paid Rs 1k per night. The hotel is very close to the main road, though the entrance is around the back and can be hard to spot at first. A good hotel for the price.

Be careful if you book at Gazal residency. Rooms may not be available, and they can put you in a bad one, then say you can cancel if you’re unhappy. That’s how the manager spoke to me. Check that the AC works before taking the room, because mine didn’t work at night. The fan was noisy too, and the experience was horrible.

The receptionist was the worst I’ve dealt with, and the staff were rude and unprofessional. The room was dirty, there was no soap, and the bathroom was awful. For under 1000, the rest was okay, but the staff were terrible and badly behaved. The receptionist insisted on charging 1300. I said it showed 1000 online, and he told me he wouldn’t give me a room even if I booked it. Look at that attitude.

It’s okay for a short stay, but the rooms don’t look as good as they do in the photos. Wi-Fi worked well, though the TV in my room didn’t. The staff seemed untrained, and there’s no restaurant.

A neat, compact place in a good Gole Market location. The food was average, while the service was good. With a lift, TV, Wi-Fi, power backup, and AC rooms, it was comfortable.
