The hotel’s interior has a premium feel, and the staff made me feel at home. The rooms were luxurious, the beds very comfortable, and the service flawless. It would suit business meetings, vacations, or a couple’s getaway.

The food was delicious, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere that made the visit enjoyable. I also found the room clean, looked after, and stocked with what I needed. The staff were welcoming and polite from the time I arrived, and the elegant, comfortable setting made it easy to unwind. I had a wonderful stay at BSA Hotel in Lucknow and would happily return.

I’ve been trying for a month and a half to get a room bill with taxes for reimbursement, but they haven’t responded. At checkout I was given a handwritten food receipt, not the room bill I need. I booked two nights through Agoda on May 1, but when I arrived they said the booking had been cancelled because I was late. It was late at night and I was exhausted, so I booked directly as the receptionist suggested. They seemed polite and genuine, but I’d warn business travelers who need reimbursement paperwork, and anyone who pays their taxes honestly and doesn’t save a few hundred rupees. This hotel is a scam.

The rooms were clean, nice, and affordable, so I was going to leave the owner a good review when I checked out. Then the staff told me to call Fabhotels customer service and ask them to add ₹200 to the fare. Their manner was awful, and they asked me to give five stars or they’d charge ₹30 extra for the complimentary Bisleri water. Cheap tactics, with the sort of guesthouse caretaker attitude you’d expect from a bargain tourist place.
