My reservation had already been approved, but after a trip of more than 10 hours I reached the hotel and was refused entry because foreigners weren’t allowed. It was 22:00, I was in a city where few hotels have permission to accept foreigners, my phone was nearly dead, and I badly needed a bed. The staff were very rude and wouldn’t try to help me find a way forward. I’ve never written a review like this before, but they deserve it.

Don’t expect luxury here. I booked through oyo and got what I’d expect to that standard, including a refreshing kit and water bottle. Meals are outsourced if you want to order, though I got mine through Zomato. Breakfast was listed as complimentary, but I left early and can’t comment on it. The staff were good. Rates run Rs. 700-1200 + GST depending on the number of people. You might be able to bargain with a smile and some bargaining skill. Thanks for reading.

The rooms on the second and third floors are spacious, and cleanliness is fine. The hotel’s reasonably priced, which is a plus. The ground and first floors are used as a godown, and from outside it doesn’t look like a conventional hotel. Food is OK.

It’s dusty and a bit noisy, though there aren’t many guest houses nearby, so it’s useful to have this option. If you don’t mind the dust and noise, everything else is OK. I can’t comment on the services.

The price feels high for what you get, especially given the poor location and unhygienic conditions. The place is dingy, and the staff seem poorly trained. OYO should check the quality of its partner properties, stop using photos that look misleading, and hire more responsible staff. This was a really bad experience.
