The bedding was stained, dirty, and smelled bad, and the quilts weren’t any better. No toiletries were provided, and even the kettle was in terrible condition. The rooms were poor for the price, and the staff were rude, arguing over things unnecessarily. Service and atmosphere were both disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Hotel Vinayak in Album Baugh, in the Aishbagh area, is handy for a family trip or sightseeing in Lucknow. It’s centrally located, with heritage sites and markets easy to reach. Bada Imambada, Chhota Imambada, Rumi Darwaza, and Bhool Bhulaiya are around 15-20 minutes away. Chowk market and Aminabad are nearby for shopping and street food, too. The hotel is more budget to mid-range than luxury, but the rooms are neat, air-conditioned, and reasonably furnished. They’re kept clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms have hot water. Wi-Fi and parking are available. Staff are polite and cooperative, and can help with local sights or transport. Service is fairly quick, and the food is good, particularly the North Indian options. Tunday Kababi and Rahim’s kulcha nihari are a short drive away if you want to try Lucknowi food.

There’s no restaurant, and the road noise from constant honking goes on all day and night. The staff and room service are good, and the food tastes good too, but I wouldn’t take a meal plan with the room. They also don’t keep the toiletries properly stocked.

A reasonably priced place that still has the amenities you need.
