MySpace Syona Residency

The common hotel washroom was very dirty, and the bar's bathroom was worse. It looked as if it had never been washed, with the toilet always full of feces, and the smell carried into the bar. The bar itself was poorly maintained and smelled bad.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends. The washroom was awful to use, with no tissues or handwash provided. The attendants didn't seem professionally trained and felt like they were there just to fill a headcount. The area around the hotel was also very dirty and below standard. Overall, below average.

The hotel is near the railway station and bus stand, though the surrounding area is extremely crowded. The station is only 800 metres away, but getting there can take half an hour. Staff were unfriendly and kept asking for tips. Food and cleanliness were just normal.

The room was clean and the hotel service was good, but I was disappointed by the room arrangement. I had booked a club room through GOIBIBO for my wife and me. When we arrived, it wasn't ready, so we waited about 20 minutes. Then I found it had two small beds instead of a single bed. Reception said no other room was ready and that we could either wait for one or make do with the twin room.
