Getting around was easy since the hotel is near the station and metro, and there were plenty of nearby places to eat. The staff were very cooperative and gave us useful tips on Lucknow, including some hidden spots that impressed us. We were a family of four, three of us women. Before booking, Mr Arpit explained the property, and arranging the stay was simple. When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with hot water, clean bedding, soft pillows and clean blankets. The room and washroom were clean as well.

My dad booked two rooms for our family of five, four women and one man, for October 27, 28 and 29, 2025. The owner sent room photos on WhatsApp, and we chose the place based on those. It’s about a 7-8 minute walk from Lucknow Charbagh railway station, but finding it was difficult because it’s down a narrow alley. We had to ask locals. There are 10-15 steep steps up to the entrance, and the hotel itself is very small. The rooms didn’t look like the photos. One was beside reception and next to the dormitory washroom. To reach the other, you had to go through the boys’ dormitory, between the beds. How could a woman in our family walk through a boys’ dormitory to get to her room? The owner didn’t make a video call, only shared pictures. After seeing the rooms, my dad asked to shorten the booking to one day. The owner’s manner changed suddenly and he insisted we stay, but we left anyway and got no refund for the money we’d paid to book. I wouldn’t recommend this for a family trip. Maybe the dormitory service works well for bachelors, but I can’t recommend it for my family. The other positive reviews may be from bachelors too. After we posted the review, the owners called us on October 30, 2025, asked us to delete it, and offered a refund. If they’re so sure they’re right, they shouldn’t be asking us to remove our review. I’m editing it now. Stop misleading people.

I’ve been coming here for years, and they keep improving things each time. On my last visit in summer, I asked for hot bath water and they brought it right away. I feel safe here, and it’s affordable, clean, has wifi, and is close to the station and monuments. The staff are great and help with whatever you need. The owner lives with his family opposite the hotel and makes sure guests’ needs are handled. Bhabhiji cooks delicious food for very little money. It feels like a home away from home.

It’s about a five minute walk from the station, and I really enjoyed staying here. Safe, clean, dependable and budget friendly, with free wifi and hot water. The staff are polite and flexible, and the hospitality feels warm. Home away from home.
