The Centrum

The food and snacks were fresh, tasty, and plentiful throughout the UP AI & Health Innovation Conference at The Centrum in Golf City, Lucknow. I attended on January 12-13, 2026, and the venue handled the large crowd smoothly. The halls had bright, even lighting, the audio was crystal clear for keynotes and panels, and the Wi-Fi stayed reliable during high-usage demos. A top-notch venue for big conferences, and I’d recommend it for future events in Lucknow.

The location is a bit far from the main city, but it’s a relaxing place to spend quality time with family. The facilities were well maintained, the staff polite and humble, and the food, especially breakfast, was better than at similar hotels in Lucknow. Special thanks to Mr. Shubham, the swimming trainer, for his professional and supportive guidance. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room itself was nice, and the staff seemed polite, but I’m deeply unhappy about what happened with my privacy at Centrum Lucknow. Some reception staff disclosed personal information about me, including details of a private mini celebration I held at the property. That makes me worry about how casually they might share sensitive details such as my ID. For a hotel presented as a 5-star property, this raises serious questions about professionalism and data security. Since the incident, I haven’t felt safe or comfortable staying there. I hope management takes immediate, strict steps to protect guests’ privacy.

The location is in a prime area, but the service fell well short of the hotel’s five-star claim. A large wedding was underway, and it felt as though the other guests came second. There were problems throughout the stay. We were placed in a separate building some distance from the main one. The receptionist came with us to the fourth floor, but our keys didn’t work. Getting replacements took 10 minutes. Later, I needed a one-page printout and was given the wrong phone number at reception. It took four calls to get it done. They said carts were available whenever needed, but none arrived after we waited 10 minutes. The security guard on duty wasn’t helpful and seemed out of touch. At the bar, the mojito was overly syrupy, with too much pudina and no lemon ring. Our single order of crispy corn took 40 minutes. The room kettle didn’t work. I reported it, called again after 10 minutes, and was told repairs take 15 minutes. It took 20 minutes, and staff didn’t believe the kettle was broken. Breakfast was another letdown: after I ordered dosa and waited 15 minutes before reminding them, staff started rushing around. The person on duty seemed to have forgotten the order and hadn’t checked with the live counter.
