Martsemik Camp Pangong Lake

I never felt on my own during my ten days in Ladakh. They arranged my stay and travel around the region, shaping the itinerary around what I liked and didn’t like. The hospitality was warm, the food was great, and I got to experience their culture. Their guidance took me to important sights as well as hidden natural spots. I really enjoyed the whole solo trip.

The lake was only a short walk from our room, and we had a lovely view of it. My family and I were very comfortable there, and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful stay.

The room arrangements weren’t great, especially for water, cleaning, and safety, and the food was just okay. I wouldn’t suggest going with a big group. Still, watching the water and hills change colour on an early morning walk was a great experience. The view is lovely, and I enjoyed the scooter ride too. I’d love to return to the lake when it freezes.

I had to miss my trip for certain reasons and asked for a refund. They said it would be sent within a week, but it’s been 12 days with no payment or reply. I honestly wasn’t counting on getting the money back and was just taking a chance, but they did promise. After that first conversation, the manager lady became rude. I’ve called and messaged her many times since, without hearing back.
