The big window made my room airy and fresh. It had a cupboard, table, and TV, and the bed sheets and pillows were more or less clean. The room wasn’t very clean, though it was tolerable, and the old hotel had a worn-out feel. For a similarly priced stay, the nearby hotels were worse, with small, dingy, smelly rooms. The restaurant was okay, vegetarian only, and the food was not bad. It was clean enough, the staff were decent, and for a budget hotel it was decent overall. You get what you pay for.

The food at the Ganesh restaurant was awesome. The staff there were warm, smiling, and prompt. It was my second stay at Ganesh hotel, this time for a week, and the staff were warm and responsive despite the language barrier. Manager Kamal Badshah was especially proactive and caring. The hotel is in a very convenient spot in Madnapally. 🙏🙏🙂

I tried the dosa here a couple of times and didn’t like it at all. I wouldn’t recommend it, the outside stalls are much better.

We were a family of seven staying at hotel ganesh madanapalle in July 2019, paying INR 2000 a night for an AC room. The stay was horrible, and I wouldn’t go back. There’s no lift, so avoid it if climbing stairs is difficult. The bedcovers and blankets looked filthy. The toilet had only a bucket and mug, no health pipes, a broken flush, a clogged wash basin, and a floor mat that was extremely dirty. There was nowhere to hang clothes. The toilet ventilation opened onto the next building’s house, with no privacy. Hot water was only supplied on demand, and after paying 2000 rs, it was pathetic to have room boys bring it in buckets. We had to keep calling room service. What a horrible stay.

The Masala Wada was delicious and had a unique taste. You can find nonveg near the bus stand, and the place serves authentic South Indian food that’s tangy and spicy. It’s close to Madanapalle bus stop, with Asia's largest tomato market nearby. The hotel is affordable and hygienic, with employees who behave well, and there’s a restaurant in the basement.
