Euro Valley

Mr Prakash and the owners were so warm and friendly, and the wholesome food was tasty. I came to Coorg on my doctor's recommendation to get some rest from stressful Mumbai city life, and left Euro Valley feeling energetic and young again. The view is stupendous, and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. It's a little remote, around a 10-15 minute drive from Madikeri town, with erratic cellphone coverage, which made it easy to switch off and relax. Mr Prakash knows good taxi drivers who can arrange trips to places such as Namdroling monastery, Mandalpatti, Abby falls, Dubare elephant camp and more.

Our villa had three bedrooms, plenty of outdoor space for games, and rooms that were comfortable, well equipped, and very clean. Though there are frequent power cuts, the weather was pleasant because of the location. We found Euro Valley homestay online while planning a 3-day, 2-night Madikeri holiday with family visiting from Bombay. The photos looked beautiful, so we spoke with Mr Prakash and booked. Being among the coffee plantations and away from the city's chaos made for a lovely stay. We asked for local food, and it was delicious. His wife is an amazing cook, and Mr Prakash and his family were very helpful and welcoming hosts. A wonderful place to stay when visiting Madikeri.

The hills look great from here, and being well away from Medikery Town makes the place peaceful. Mr. Prakash and his family were friendly, polite, and helpful, and the food was very good too. The drive from the Medikary-Mangalore highway to the homestay is bad and difficult, though. I liked my stay, it's one of the best places to stay in Coorg.

We had a pleasant two-day trip, and the family were wonderful hosts, especially Mr Prakash, who was very friendly and helpful. The spacious, neat room had a large private sit-out. It sits among coffee plantation hills, about 7 kms from Madikeri, and felt worth the money. I'd recommend it. Thanks to owner Prakash.
