The room at Allaranda Homestay was clean and cozy, and we felt comfortable there throughout our stay. The couple running it were so welcoming, even letting us check in at 3 AM, which we really appreciated. Breakfast tasted like good home cooking, and they also pointed us toward places to see around Madikeri.

The hosts at Allaranda Home Stay were friendly, polite, and helpful, and the peaceful natural setting made it easy to unwind during my Coorg trip. I also really enjoyed the fresh, home-style food. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well looked after. I’d happily recommend it to anyone wanting a calm and comfortable stay in Coorg.

The surroundings are green and quiet, and the spacious rooms are clean and well kept. The owners, uncle and aunty, were humble and polite, and the homemade food was great. Thanks for the service. A good place to visit with family. One small suggestion: an electric kettle for warm drinking water would be useful.

The homemade breakfast was better than the local restaurant food we tried in Coorg. The owner was friendly, and I even played TT with him. Rooms are decent for the price, and the homestay is close to the main places to visit. They also have their own coffee plantation if you’d like to explore it.

The setting among nature and the coffee plantation was the one real plus. Inside, several listed basics were missing, including the TV, toiletries, and coffee table, and we had to ask for towels. The washroom was too small for bathing, and there was no closet. Breakfast was just okay and could be improved. Service was very slow, with long waits between food items, since the owner was handling everything alone.
