A good place to stay, especially if you have a car. Meenakshi Amman Temple is about 5.6 km away and Thiruparankundram around 6 km, and you can reach either in roughly 30 minutes. Quite good overall.

I arrived at 11:00 PM on 28/11/2025 with my wife and 4-year-old daughter, but reception refused to check us in. I'd booked and paid through Agoda and had a confirmation voucher, yet they said they'd ended their Agoda tie-up long ago and didn't accept those bookings. They made us leave. With the weekend rush, we couldn't find another hotel and had to drive home in the middle of the night. Our whole trip was cancelled. If the hotel no longer takes Agoda bookings, why is it still listed online and taking payment?

The photos speak for themselves. There was no basic hygiene, and the room looked godforsaken. A terrible experience, and a black mark for the Temple City group.

This restaurant has improved a lot. I used to choose Mattuthavani temple City because the quality was better, but this one is doing well now too. Much appreciated.

At 1700 for two people in an AC room, it's okay. Keep it as a last-minute option. The room was good, though don't expect anything premium. The location on MATTUTHAVANI-PUDUR RD is also good for a function or meeting nearby. The bathroom wasn't good. I attached some photos to show what I mean.
