The rooms were clean and well kept, and we found the place at a decent price on Agoda. It's about 6 km from Meenakshi Amman Temple, which suited our visit there while traveling from Thiruchendur. It felt comfortable for a family or a short stay in Madurai. Drinking water is limited, though, and you have to buy more. The amenities kit was sparse too, with no body wash or dental kit. Other places in this price range often include those basics.

We checked by phone before booking whether they had electric car charging, and they said they did. After we arrived, they told us it wasn't available. They had a regular electrical socket, but even after we asked several times, nobody would help. It caused a major hassle. This is an average service apartment, and claiming to offer a facility just to get a booking felt like a complete scam.

The best thing is how close it is to the airport. The room was small but fine. It's set up like an apartment with two rooms, a shared hall and kitchen, and each room has its own attached washroom and toilet.

This works best for a larger family, but the setup means you get one room in a 2 BHK or 3 BHK apartment and someone else may be staying in another room. It's far enough out for an easy drive in, though the location isn't good if you're arriving by bus, flight, or train.
