Forest Inn

The food was a great experience. They prepared it to our choice, and even though we arrived late at night, they served a hot meal. Just speechless. This is a great base near lingmala and a lovely spot for nature lovers. Both the forest and garden views are awesome. We liked having a freeze, TV, wardrobe, and good mattress in the room. The rooms were spotless and well equipped, and the natural setting and service make it good value. Rainy season sounds especially rewarding if you enjoy greenery and forest rain. The road may not be fully paved or easy at night, so plan if arriving late, let the property know, and check about lighting and parking. Choose the room type carefully, such as garden view or premium, and confirm which view it has.

The staff were friendly, but the stay was frustrating because basic hospitality fell short. Hygiene was poor, the bathroom smelled unpleasant, food choices were limited, and service was delayed. The place needs improvement.

Forrest inn hotel was clean and decent, and it's one of the best hotels in Mahabaleshwar.

The rooms are very big, the bathroom was very clean, and the property is surrounded by trees. The owner is a good person, but he goes home at night, and there's nobody available to help if you need assistance then. Although the property is quite large and right by the road, it feels isolated after dark. With family, I felt scared at night and kept wondering when morning would come. I'd recommend staying here only if you're with a group or the other rooms are already booked.
