Hotel Valleywood

I booked Valleywood Hotel in a last-minute rush after finding no other Mahabaleshwar options, and it was very disappointing. There was no hot water from evening until the next morning, and the rooms were tiny and poorly kept. At this price, I expected basics like an electric kettle and a working TV, but neither was available. The washrooms were dirty, and the plastic buckets and mugs were very unclean. It didn’t feel like hygiene was a priority. There’s no hotel restaurant and practically no room service, while parking is very limited. It didn’t meet even basic expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families looking for a peaceful trip.

The hotel faces the valley, but it sits on a steep slope, so take care when driving there. The rooms feel old and don’t leave you feeling fresh. There’s no room service, and you have to keep chasing people.

The valley view was lovely, and we had a great three-day stay. The staff were friendly, with special thanks to Virendra for such excellent service. Metgutad is worth visiting for a good experience!
