The manager was polite, but the rooms weren't up to standard, the linen was dusty and unclean, and the Wi-Fi was extremely patchy. I was ready to give two stars until the breakfast arrived. It was the most pathetic breakfast I've ever seen, and looked as if it had been reheated after being made two days earlier. The location was filthy too. Do not book this place. It's the worst Treebo I've stayed at.

I stayed here in August because I've had good experiences with Treebo in other cities. This time the brand didn't meet its usual standard. They advertise a two-course breakfast, but we got only a small plate of poha and tea. When we asked for more, they wanted extra payment. Guests shouldn't have to pay more for something advertised as included. If Treebo can't maintain the quality it promotes, it should reconsider its association with this property. The manager was polite and did his best with the limited resources the property had. My concern is with Treebo itself.

The manager was helpful and polite, the one positive from our stay. We spent 2100rs for one night on 29th Dec, and it wasn't worth it. The property is in a Muslim locality, about a 2-3 minute walk from the main market. The room and bedsheet weren't clean. Wi-Fi only worked near the door and was unreliable inside the room. Hot water was available only from 7-11 AM. The complimentary breakfast was a very small portion, with no other options. The TV wasn't smart, just Dish TV, and only worked when the network was good.

If you like being near the main market, New Hill Retreat is a nice place to stay. It's in the main market area near the bus stand, with clean rooms and really good service.

The market is right beside the hotel, and hygiene was the best part. One of the best rooms I've stayed in in Mahabaleshwar, with friendly staff too.
