Lake Paradise Mahabaleshwar

Being so close to Venna Lake made Lake Paradise a great base for family outings. We had a wonderful time there, with prompt, courteous service that made the stay comfortable and smooth. The clean pool was a highlight after sightseeing, and the snacks were tasty. We’d definitely visit again for a family vacation.

There’s plenty of space, and the place is clean. The children enjoyed playing outside by the lake, the food was decent, and the staff looked after us well. A good stay overall.

The food was really good for both taste and quality, and prices were competitive. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with decent comfort overall. I’d still recommend staying here, especially for the cleanliness and food. There are some drawbacks: staff behavior wasn’t very polite, the limited parking made getting the car in feel like an adventure, and the surrounding area wasn’t very clean. There’s no food room service, so guests have to go to the dining area. I was told they avoid room service to prevent cockroach issues in the rooms.

The rooms are clean and nice, with hot water, and breakfast was really tasty. The plates at breakfast were very old and still had oil marks, though, so they should be replaced. One other issue is the windows: there are gaps between the glass panels, so outside noise and barbecue smells get into the room.
