OYO 16903 Beyond Horizon Hotel

The morning view was stunning, and the room was spacious and clean. There was hot water in the morning, the TV and AC worked, and the staff were helpful. Mobile internet was the main problem, though the Wi-Fi they provide partly helps.

A heads-up, the turn is one lane before where the maps lead you. The hotel has a good view and amenities, and the staff are well behaved. The location is quite good apart from the road. Internet was down for several hours during my stay, and the TV wasn't working either. Mobile signal is very weak on all operators, so getting online may be difficult. We booked for three people but got a room for two with an extra bed. It was just an ordinary single mattress, the kind you can buy very cheaply, and didn't meet expectations. The extra blanket was the same. Both should have been the same quality as the mattress on the bed.

The road to the hotel is so rough it's like off-roading, and small cars probably won't make it. We also ran into trouble booking through OYO because they wouldn't agree to the complementary discount. The reception guy argued with the OYO executive for nearly half an hour, wasting a lot of our time, so we booked directly at reception instead. We got two rooms for six people for 2k, which was quite good. The rooms were nice and had balconies.

The rooms were clean, the balconies had a good view, and the quiet atmosphere felt like home away from home. It's a cute little place, though not lavish or luxurious. They charge a lot for anything you order, from water to food. The food is home cooked, but the prices are like a five-star hotel. I paid Rs. 750 for a plate of chicken curry, and it wasn't great at all.
