The friendly service staff made us feel special, and the food was very good overall. Make sure breakfast is included when booking. Venna View is near Venna Lake and Mahabaleshwar old city, with lovely mountain scenery. The view makes it feel like you’re staying in the middle of nature. The stay was excellent.

The rooms are lovely, with spacious balconies, and everything was neat and clean. Staff were polite and the food was very good. Venna Lake is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the resort, which has a great location. I recommend a visit.

We had a bad experience with our family. I was booked for 2 days, 13 to 15 August, but couldn’t even get tea. I went to ask for it myself, and even after hours nobody followed up. The room intercom didn’t work either. Staff were polite, but useless, and service was zero. They charged me more than 2.5 times the normal rate because it was a long weekend. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

It’s a good property with nice staff, and we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is outside the city but within walking distance of Venna Lake. There’s an in-house restaurant, though the food, especially the Chinese dishes, needs improvement.
